New Braunfels

Just minutes away are the Tanger Outlet, with stores including Calvin Klein, Adidas, West Elm, and Samsonite.


This popular town listed in the National Register of Historic Places and located within the New Braunfels city limits is a place to spend a weekend afternoon at Gruene Market Days, discovering unique spots like Gruene General Store, named one of the 40 best places to visit in Texas, or strolling the streets of this special spot and drinking in the historic charm.


People love Fredericksburg for its beautiful scenery, its wineries and its great shopping including 150+ shops including antique dealers, fashion havens, and handmade artisan works. Head to Der Kuchen Laden, which has been referred to as the Disneyland of kitchen stores, and Dogologie, the spot for “all things dog.”


The Houston Chronicle loves Boerne for its Hill Country Mile, “a long, lively stretch of Main Street, with a whole day's worth of shops, busy restaurants, historic buildings, more shops, parks and unique places to stay,” they said. “Into rummaging multi-vendor antique - and old stuff - shops? The Boerne Emporium and Antique Mall will keep you off the streets awhile. For more of a big city galleria and boutique style, there are the upscale shops in Boerne City Center, such as Moon Mippy stationery, and Las Finezas Fine Gifts.”


This charming city is a favorite place to spend a day enjoying the scenery and the shopping. Shop The Tree House is a go-to spot for unique gifts and specialty items, and the Wild West Store in downtown attracts those seeking the owner’s famed personalized service when it comes to finding the perfect pair of boots.


Kerrville’s shopping options range from its picturesque historic downtown district with unique shops including the Sunrise Antique Mall, and modern outlets like the the River Hills Mall, with stores like Belk, Bealls, and JC Penney. The first weekend of the month is a great time to visit for Kerr Market Days, with 40,000-square-feet of goods, crafts, and produce.
