Lights Spectacular-Hill Country Style

The town of Johnson City is covered in lights from the Blanco County Courthouse to the lighted forest.

It’s the Greatest Light Display in Texas, with 1.5 million lights including “lit up gingerbread houses, nativity scenes, and depictions of the North Pole,” plus homemade holiday treats.

Cowboy Capital Christmas & Shopper's Jubilee
Witness the lighting of the Christmas tree, performances by youth choirs, a live Nativity, Santa’s arrival by wagon, and shopping on a luminaria-lit Main Street with carolers in period costume.

Kick off the holiday season with exclusive shopping specials at retailers. Take a horse-drawn carriage around the Courthouse Square for a guided historic tour. Proceeds benefit United Way of Hays County and downtown improvements by the Main Street Program.”
